To sit for examination
in the department or other departments a student must be duly registered for a
course and subsequently for the examination in that course. In addition a
candidate must have satisfied the requirements under “attendance” in the
academic code of conduct as contained in the handbook of information for
students of the university. If a student takes an examination in a course not
registered for the result of such an examination shall be cancelled by the
department. All lower levels courses must be taken and passed before
registering for the higher level ones.
If a student has a
Carryover of more than sixteen credit units, he/she will sit for and pass
failed credit units before the end of 300 level before proceeding to 400 level
or participating in SIWES.(TEACHING PRACTICE EXPERIENCE}
If a student has a
carryover of more than sixteen (16) credit units, after 100 level, he/she
should sit and pass failed credits units before proceeding to 200 level or
higher levels.
